We would ask
that the following rules be acknowledged and that you do your best to
adhere to the following:
GENERAL
CONDUCT
-
We would
ask that there be NO SMOKING on the Studio premises.
-
PLEASE
NO CHEWING GUM IN CLASS. NO chewing gum is allowed in the
Studio.
-
It would
be appreciated if there was NO writing on walls or furniture.
-
We love
to provide parents with the opportunity to see how your child is
progressing during the year and there will be opportunities
provided throughout the year for this. No parents or children who
are not participating in class are to enter the Classroom whilst the
dance class is in progress. This is with the exception of the Tiny
Tots until your son or daughter is comfortable, at which time
1
parent may go in and assist them at this time.
TO AND
FROM THE STUDIO
-
We ask
that you do your best to arrive on time, although we realize there
will be occasion where this is unavoidable. In that situation
please be quiet and polite when entering class as to not distract
the other students.
NEWSLETTERS
-
We
regularly provide Newsletters throughout the year to keep you
informed. These Newsletters are also posted on our website and hard
copies kept at the studio. There is also a Notice Board in
Reception and we ask that parents check this regularly. Our
Newsletters are also posted on our Website, so feel free to retrieve
them from here at any time.
END OF
YEAR PERFORMANCE
-
Our End
of Year Concert is a fantastic show. This kids have fun and it is a
chance to put them on stage and perform for you, your family and
friends. Whilst we expect you all to participate we note that it
is not compulsory. If you do not wish to participate in the end of
year Concert, simply let me know.
EXAMINATIONS
-
Decadance is a member of the FATD – Federal Assocations of Teachers
of Dancing. Whilst exams are encouraged, They Are Not
Compulsory.
UNIFORM
-
A
uniform is available through the Studio. This ensures neatness,
discipline and a sense of community within the Studio. However
there is many items available and obviously, for those new to the
studio an adjustment period before too much money is outlayed. In
this circumstance, I simply ask that everyone has one of our uniform
items by 2nd Term.
These
rules are not there to be of inconvenience to you or to make things
difficult.
Please note these rules are simply designed to be fair to
all and to try and make it a comfortable
and friendly environment to
all.
