Policies & Information
 

We would ask that the following rules be acknowledged and that you do your best to adhere to the following:

 

GENERAL CONDUCT

 

  1. We would ask that there be NO SMOKING on the Studio premises.

 

  1. PLEASE NO CHEWING GUM IN CLASS.   NO chewing gum is allowed in the Studio.  

 

  1. It would be appreciated if there was NO writing on walls or furniture.

 

  1. We love to provide parents with the opportunity to see how your child is progressing during the year  and there will be opportunities provided throughout the year for this.  No parents or children who are not participating in class are to enter the Classroom whilst the dance class is in progress.   This is with the exception of the Tiny Tots until your son or daughter is comfortable, at which time 1 parent may go in and assist them at this time.

 

TO AND FROM THE STUDIO

 

  1. We ask that you do your best to arrive on time, although we realize there will be occasion where this is unavoidable.   In that situation please be quiet and polite when entering class as to not distract the other students.

 

NEWSLETTERS

 

  1. We regularly provide Newsletters throughout the year to keep you informed.  These Newsletters are also posted on our website and hard copies kept at the studio.  There is also a Notice Board in Reception and we ask that parents check this regularly.  Our Newsletters are also posted on our Website, so feel free to retrieve them from here at any time.

 

END OF YEAR PERFORMANCE

 

  1. Our End of Year Concert is a fantastic show.  This kids have fun and it is a chance to put them on stage and perform for you, your family and friends.   Whilst we expect you all to participate we note that it is not compulsory.  If you do not wish to participate in the end of year Concert, simply let me know.

 

EXAMINATIONS

 

  1. Decadance is a member of the FATD – Federal Assocations of Teachers of Dancing.    Whilst exams are encouraged, They Are Not Compulsory.

 

UNIFORM

 

  1. A uniform is available through the Studio.  This ensures neatness, discipline and a sense of community within the Studio.  However there is many items available and obviously, for those new to the studio an adjustment period before too much money is outlayed.  In this circumstance, I simply ask that everyone has one of our uniform items by 2nd Term.

 

 

These rules are not there to be of inconvenience to you or to make things difficult.  
Please note these rules are simply designed to be fair to all and to try and make it a comfortable
and friendly environment to all.
